Free VPN for you

Every day, there are more restrictions on what you can do on the internet. Some countries do not allow you to visit certain websites while some networks like Netflix are not available in a number of countries. VPN allows you to go around this by providing you with options that you can go with and visit these websites. When a computer tries to communicate with another, it sends a chunk of information that has the destination and the home IP address at the head. Any person can, therefore, see your IP address and the information you are looking for. Virtual private network encrypts the whole chunk of data and redirects it to its server. From here, it is sent out to the right address with the VPN’s address as the IP address. Information will, therefore, be sent back to the VPN server which will then send it out to the right source. Many VPN services providers charge and a number of them are expensive based on some factors. There are some providers however who offer free VPN services. They Include-:

TunnelBear

Tubbelbear has an option where you can use it for free, with limitations of course. It has a browser plugin and provides 20 different servers in different countries around the world that you can use. It also offers 500MB data per month which is boosted to 1GB if you share that information on social media.

How it works is if a certain website is not allowed in your country, you choose a VPN server that is in another country and it makes that request for you.

Cyberghost

The free version of Cyberghost has a number of ads and you cannot do anything until the two minutes end. It has a number of beautiful and consistent themes on its website, app and even offices. With Cyberghost, there is no need to even give out your email address. Should you decide to pay, you pay through a third party billing company and activate your account through a ticket number as it refuses to hold any user information.

SaferVPN

Although you don’t have to enter your credit card details if you are using the free version, you are however required to use a valid email address. It has a plugin like that of Tunnelbear and users are given 500MB of data with access to 30 servers spread in over 30 countries including the developed nations.

SurfEasy

The company that owns this is Opera Software and users can use the service for free though they are limited to a use of 16 servers in a number of locations. The app has a privacy feature that is turned on when one’s device is connected to a WIFI hotspot.

Hotspotshield

By using the free version of HotspotShield, you are limited to a number of locations. With the plugin, you can access more servers and they do not have a data limit. It also has adverts although they aren’t as intrusive.

One thing to put into consideration however when using free VPN is that they may not encrypt your data at all. It is therefore advised you be cautious when using them.
